It's week 3 now !!!

time flies again ~~~

today is E.M.O day~ received so many feedback which

actually have to give me some time

to digest it + accept it ~

Major class to me is fun every week but i have to receive some "comments"~

thanks wonderful TK !!

such a good lecturer that never give up on the students and

always encourage the students to do well !!

infinity to learn from him !!!

have to force myself to improve and can really solo ~ !!!

hmmm !!!!

by watching others people improving really E.M.O as well ~

thanks for those people who really trust me !

thanks for some people being so straight forward and motivates me

to work even harder !

i will work on what i should do this semester !

tons of missions to be accomplished !!

will miss it a lot !!!

今年，终于有机会和家人亲戚一同去旅行！

是和王家的成员一起去~共有22人参与！

感觉真的很不一样！

大家基本上都在自娱娱了，玩得特别开心！

这个团其实是以美食为主，所以吃了很多好料~

每一餐都很丰富~去的餐厅都是顶级的~

我们还到了广州有名的“四海一家”享用晚餐！

超过800种食物！

单单餐厅都已经大得不得了了！

食物也赞！

只可惜我们只有1.5 小时的时间享用。。

马戏团真的让我很难忘！

每一幕都会铭记在我心里~

天气也很不错！

只可惜可能享用太多美食了，导致我的平安夜过得很可惜~

身体状况不佳还真的挺麻烦的~

别人在倒数，我躺在床上。。

不过整个旅程要谢谢我的父母啦~

辛辛苦苦存来的钱才会有今天！

希望还会有机会像这样大大的家庭去旅行~

要告别2011了，迎接2012~

UCSI Contemporary Music Festival 2011

it's been a long time that i haven't touch my blog.

was busying with university's music festival.

Glad that every band made it for the community stage for that event

though the crowd for that stage was not that much people.

I did learn a lot through this event.

Learning up 3 hard songs in 1 week was not easy.

there were many details have to be polished up.

anyway, I love it and thanks to my band -- POWER 125.5

without them, we wont be able to make it.

finally after this event, we can officially have a nice sem break.

I was part of the main stage crew as well.

how they organized things well did really teach me.

2 weeks...have been busying here and there..

all my meals up and down now T T

but still doing fine here just that miss out the time to gather with my friends.

exploring something new this week.

quite pleased that we recorded some songs..

it's fun to play with the seniors and work as a group.

though the practices is less than 5 times,

i actually learnt a lot throughout the songs.

first time exploring to learn up some new songs in less than 1 week time.

first time transcribe chords like mad~

i don't mind whether we are in or not.

i do appreciate the time we played together

and i hope we can work together again.

MBE concert was nice !

like the songs a lot..also transcribe the lines like siao lang ~

but do learn a lot too =)

thanks to "The Unexpected" People....was having a lot of fun time during the practices.

MBE 3 is over !!

it was an awesome concert last night !

and finally i got the chance to be audience this semester !

enjoyed a lot from the beginning to the end of the concert !

though middle was kinda boring ~

but seniors really blast the hall !

the music business team was brilliant !

I can see they were taking care for the performers and the

lightings..etc..

i would say they are the best music business team so far !!

we love them and can see they really put a lot of effort on it =)

"everywhere that i go" was an echo song for the night..

damn nice wei~

first time fall in love with this kind of worship songs..

though i m amitabha ~ haha XD

lecturers said this was the MBE concert so far !!

all the bands were BrAvO !!!

1 more sem to go and i wil say goodbye to MBE..

can we extend a few more semesters?

4 semesters is too short ler..

we should maintain the old syllabus which is 7 semesters!

时间真快！

已经“二”字头了！

I am glad that i have a bunch of friends here that care me a lot~

I am glad that my dad managed to meet me the day before my birthday~

friends here gave me a surprise the night before my birthday.

kinda surprise coz it was kinda Early !

it was kinda happening week for me.

Jiawai's( .which is my lovely housemate) birthday was the next day of mine.

so a few of them went to celebrate with him and i hv to stay at sku as

i got my LAST major class with TK in the year of 2011 ~

and they brought back a very super yummy moose cheese cake(spelling correct?)

damn nice man !!

got my favorite strawberry on top!

damn delicious man !!

i never try tat before in my life !

band 3 oso went out to belanja a few of our important VIPs for high tea that day.

we were laughing a lot there and

the guan yin jokes..till now..

kinda lame..but my friend can laugh non-stop !!

thanks for those important VIPs that helped us a lot !

we appreciate a lot this whole semester.

Thursday was a happening night as choir's concert is no longer boring !

they got dance somemore !!

这一天，可以说是大家搞创意的的一天~

我很喜欢！

早上很烦恼的从床上爬上来~

然后，背着那keyboard去学校~

心情一直都很不定~

太多事情要解决~

直到band practice开始，

不懂怎么的，感觉上我在动物园~

很高兴的一起练习。。

然后，就开始乱掰了~

乱弹了。。

把一首简单的歌，

搞得好像在动物园。。

我好像介绍他们给大家！~

各有各的意见，然后就一起玩啦！

my band (H50) volunteered to went up on stage for assessment.

but marks wont be counted i guess >.<

we performed Don't Know Why

as it was really a nice song for my whole band.

It was supposed to be a very ballad + emo song.

but we preferred to take WVC Trio's version.

suggested that song..

but i din prepare for sure.

coz we volunteered it very last minute

ended up sendiri mempersiasuikan on stage

It was really enjoyable for me on stage.

i saw people improving..which i am very glad about it.

felt very sorry for the rhythm.

yeap, i lost my pulse on stage and ended up playing like

what TK always told me..

"AUNTY CACAT!!! "

However, thanks to friends that like the song a lot.

this was our 2nd education trip in the year 2011

it was wonderful but tiring !

hahaha XD

we enjoyed a lot throughout the trip

and did actually gain some experience that we never

have before in campus ^^

knew a few juniors which are adorable.

get to know them more =)

went to "The Ship" for dinner.

i think UCSI music students are RICH !!!

super rich !!

(but not me)

they can order set dinner which cost around 80bucks !!

OMG !!!

still miss penang's food !!

Concert Choir's Concert 2011

UCSI Concert Choir finally hold our own concert.

It was a memorable day for us.

Have to memorize at least 10 songs for this concert.

is not easy to sing those songs.

spent a wonderful night with our caroling gang.

almost all of our caroling members are in this Concert Choir.

Really learnt a lot of knowledge through this choir.

We got a good lecturer + lovely members.

However, i love alto section girls =)

可是，final project 就糟了！

you guys are just owesome n wonderful !

its my pleasure to play with you guys =)

Played 10songs in 1 semester is kinda tough but

we did learn a lot.

The MBE concert was happening.

and we were the one that is called SOFT.

before and after that was almost rock music !!!

ROCCKKKZZZ!

and we played something called Bossa Nova ( lounge music).

Though our beloved song "Comatose" was pulled out last minute from the list,

I am going to do that song next semester again !!

for me , it was such a waste...haih~

such a powerful song.

nevermind , will try that again if got the chance.

So..the semester ends with dindi mood~~

hahahha XD

finally, had a talk with my friend before the concert starts.

yea, i think my thought was kinda true.

think of that before.

everything was like in the plan.

probably what they said are true

just that i am the stupid one got tipu ~

She also said the same thing.

the end of my 3rd semester..

proceeding to 2nd year soon.

i just ended my MBE final exam today which was surprisingly quite a good job

which i heard from lecturer and friend's feedback.

although there still can be better and some details to be nailed it.

we did 3 songs which were chosen by our lecturers which

were Dindi , Sorrow and Comatose.

Dindi

it was a nice song.

but i remember this song was the first time to bring up on assessment.

played half way and stopped by lecturer

because of the Rubato part with the singer.

@@ ...

luckily, we nailed it for this time and the lecturers were satisfied on it !

it was a song by Progressive Rock Band , PINK FLOYD .

when first listened to it,

it was like OMG ?!!!

seriously, wanna do this song..

its 8mins looonnnggg.

and we only manage to fix everything last night !

and only get the chance to practise with FULL BAND.

suprisingly, it was kinda good.

but still...there are details that can be done....

Its a metal song !

for me, LOVING a metal song its not easy..

research papers, assignments, projects...

i can see that everyone is stretching like a monkey right now.

i really wanna thanks some people that really willing to help me.

this is my 2nd time to perform in masterclass.

but i guess i really ruin up in the 2nd song .

really sorry to the seniors.

i really duno what i m playing honestly.

it's all last minute.

only got informed on wednesday that i will be playing

another additional song during practice.

SPAIN ~

what the hell...

so last minute.

2 songs neh...

and we only practise 1 time only and straight up to masterclass.

but anyway, really thanks them for the invitation.

i never expect to play with them one day also.

i like the last part of Spain and the jamming session.

can see everyone was very high that time.

through this performance, i really did learn something which

i guess i never learn before.

It's really a nice experience though.

Sabah trip ( 3/3 - 6/3 )

这次的沙巴之旅真是有点出乎预料~

原以为可能有点难撑，可是新朋友的认识让我把很多

烦恼都抛在后头。

那晚的表演算蛮成功的。

有蛮多的支持者。

虽然合唱团本身并不是那么的出色，

可是我相信经过这一次大家都从当中学了很多东西。

很喜欢在那边的住宿，环境都很好~

尤其是第一晚，超级舒服的~

好像度假村~

我们也和Kian Kok High School 的歌咏队交流。

真的是小妹妹。。。

哈哈哈！！！

那边的海岛。。真的是让我们relax 到暴！

好久没到海边了。

吴台湾是第一个让我下水的！

我永远都不会忘记！

因为，他害我的camera's battery 也一起入水了！

可是，那一天真的是非常兴奋的！

this trip is mainly focusing on performance(concert choir)

we plan not to sleep as we have to gather 4.30am at uni on thursday.

how i wish the days are still like my degree first sem.

The band list is out.

And I miss my first band very much.

drummer,bassist,vocalist and guitarist are all soo perfect.

Perfect arrangement for my band that time.

But now actually its still quite ok.

No complains from me too.

early morning got excited and went to school to settle my bills.

and ended up dunno what was the lecturer teaching.

It feels really good and warm =)

Aural class was fine.

We got a good lecturer for this semester.

After that, went to Emily's mum hair salon for a haircut.

Everyone wanted a new style.

welcome to the year of 2011~

i wish everyone always healthy and wealthy.

went to Queensbay to countdown last night.

It was quite crowded but the fireworks really disappointed us a lot.

not as much as previous year.

however, this year was the 1st year i celebrated with my relatives

and cousins.

I felt warm when i celebrated with them.

Chit chat and bully those small ones..

hahaha XD

Anyway, school is going to reopen on Monday.

2 months of holidays is going to end so soon.

I regret that i did not practise much during this sem break.

I think TK gonna kill me~~

however, cant wait to meet my friends

but i have to say bye bye to my lovely land-Penang.

Its time to say goodbye.

2010年我干了什么？

这一整年是个很难忘的一年。

很顺利的上了degree in contemporary music.

简单来说，是注重jazz music.

记得degree第一学期，就被分配到了很高级的band.

简直是个full band.

drummer, vocalist, guitarist, bassist and keyboardist.

真的是五脏齐全。

DA CLOCS是我生中参与的第一个band.

是真的很荣幸可以和他们一起合作。

起初真的很害怕，因为他们都是top student.

不过，他们对我的照顾和指导，我真的很感谢~

那个学期也过得蛮精彩的。

好几位身边的朋友拍拖。

不过也有很可怜的。

我也无话可说。

照旧，我永远都是为聆听者。

原因不明~从中学开始，就开始听别人的故事~

最记得我们在学期结束之前，我们同班一起办了一个University Life Concert.

目的是帮助那些孤儿。

大家可为了那个concert投资了不少精神。

我们的老师起初也对我们有些歧视，

不过在举办的整个过程对我们改变了不少~

到最后都可以一起去yam cha~

今年的生日和往年一样，平平淡淡~

记得生日的第二天，emily的妈妈做了chocolate cake.

真的很美味~

然后，当天总共吃了三粒蛋糕~

傻了~

degree第二学期过得比较悠闲。

因为我只拿4个科目。

不过那时候，就开始筹备christmas caroling了。

练习也是从那时就开始练了~

说到这个，真的很难以忘怀~

在云顶发生了一些事，也听了一些有趣的故事。

也知道自己的弱点。

也深入了解了一些朋友。

当然，也整了自己的好姐妹~

那可是比自己的生日还要难忘~

哈哈哈哈！

已经过了一个礼拜了，心里有时还会酸酸底的。

不懂在惦记着什么。

只认可它是个我永远不会忘记的事。

在上面也有emo了，原因可能自己想多了~

或者可能也懂太多了~

心理也有些不平衡~

有些事情我真的不敢说。

因为我们的学校是在太小了~

所以，我宁愿自己苦一些或告诉中学的朋友~

那些是自己知道就好了~

是时候告别2010年了~

希望2011年是个美好的一年。

成绩可以比较好~

也可以幸福一些~

我不要求特别~

emily's surprised birthday party

It was Emily's 19th birthday.

We were glad that everything was in our planning.

We planned the surprised party few days ago before her birthday.

It was a bit cruel for her and the idea was from SOMEONE.

We planned some friends will bring her(without me) to 共和堂 just for a simple celebration.

actually during that day, everyone acted noob in front of her

and pretended nothing.

No one wished her accept me and xin xin.

So overall she was very down throughout the whole day.

Me and xin xin also felt very speechless on that day as we dunno how to face her.

The interesting part comes...

we pakat with her family.

as usual some of my friends brought her to共和堂 to simply celebrate(last half an hour)

but actually Terrence, Gan and me were decorating the room.

After finished celebrating at 共和堂 ,they brought her back to her room

with giving excuse that they would like to eat those fruits which brought by her family.

ta-da!!!!

hahaha~ it was all in our planning.

I am so happy and felt very proud on that moment that we did it!!

又是一年了~

这是我的第二年在云顶过圣诞~

很温馨的感觉~

从选人到现在，分分秒秒永远铭记在心~

很高兴又认识一般新朋友~

大多数都是juniors.

今年我们唱的地点主要是在outdoor theme park + first world time square

其实，比较地点的话，当然是去年的好。

因为至少可以听到我们的harmonization.

在户外唱，几乎是和过山车或别人的尖叫声“打架”。

可是今年也很好，至少我不需要到casino 里唱了~

其实，两个礼拜真的发生了满多事的~

听了一些不好听的话~

心情其实也有复杂过~

不过，我还是相信他人~

大家互相怀疑也没有好处。

因为我相信~

这14天过得太快了~

回家的路上，真的很不舍得这班朋友~

大家在一起闹了那么久。

有相聚就有分离的一天。

当回到家收拾行李时，

此刻真的是很难过~家务也懒惰做。

难得大家最后一晚还穿上disney的t-shirt 庆祝。

finally, a trip to Uniqlo.

me, emily, terrence and glenn decided to go there.

reached there at 10.40am and there was still a queue.

v thought weekdays people will be busying in working or studying.

on the other hand, there are still many people went there.

aunties a lot too =.="

at first, i don't really get what is sooo famous with this brand.

everyone willing to queue up for like half an hour or 1 hour just to enter this shop.

it was originated from japan.

so the clothes they selling now are more on winter clothing.

it does not suit to our season now.

so, just bought a skinny pans from there.

luckily today was not that MUCH people.

after that, we headed to Pavilion for the snowflakes to have our "lunch".

just to satisfied that 2 fella for always ordering wrong menu there.

it was a fun day with the girls.

i was treated like a tour guide to bring them out to buy the accessories for christmas caroling.

we have our lunch at time square and after that we headed to sg.wang

to start what we called "shopping".

finally, i am not the only 短 for this year.

still got a few can compete with me.

after buying the black boots, we went to SASA for cosmetics.

bought BIORE remover from there.

as i have seen quite a few people blogged about that remover before.

anyway, it was a tired day for me.

besides that, i would like to say i am a person that respect people's decision.

i wont be that hot-temper.

i know where am i and which position i stand now.

we planned to go The Gardens for japanese food as she wished to.

it was a short but wonderful trip.

It was our first time to travel with a Astro Host too.

Really pity him also. go where some people will stare at him.

anyway, it was a enjoyable day overall.

we did not go to theme park and play as the time really very limited.

假期就要结束了~

9月1日就会是我第二个学期。

第一个学期过得很充实~

学习了很多，也失败了很多~

finally we successfully held our charity concert on 31st July.

It was really a success.

special thanks to Ah Gan, HL MILK and Dr.Christine who organised this concert.

we changed a lot of the opinion for our lecturer.

and the friendship among 40 of us improved a lot.

hahahaha..

we know each other well.

its a very big event.

We did not expect so many guests will come.

and the Start Society children were awesome too!

they did a good job on their performance on that day.

It's our pleasure to sing with them as the grand finale concert.

i will remember this concert.

We did not expect guests or audience will donate so much.

We set out budget around maybe RM500 or even less.

But the result came out as RM2000++

It was quite a big amount to us.

Last Sunday was my birthday, so i celebrated with my family.

hehe..

which means i went back to penang.

not just for birthday celebration, its also for

Union High School Band first ever concert.

they did a good job.

i have seen a lot of improvements among them.

well done, girls ^^

the next day which was Monday, i came back to KL.

emily's mum baked a chocolate cake.
